Captions and script are synced — when you edit the script, the captions update automatically. The separate Captions panel is for styling only. Here's how both work.
Step 1: Open Your Video
Click Library in the left sidebar, find your video, click the three dots on the video card, and select Edit.
Step 2: Edit Caption Text
Click Script in the left sidebar. Edit the script text directly — your captions sync with the script automatically, so whatever you type there becomes the caption.
Step 3: Change Caption Style
Click Captions in the left sidebar to change the look of your captions. This panel controls style only, not the words.
Choose from simple overlays, bordered text, subtitle boxes, or animated word-by-word styles.
Adjust font, size, and color to match your brand.
Play the preview to check how your captions look and line up with the voice.
Step 4: Render Your Video
Click the blue Render button. Once processing finishes, your video with updated captions is in the Library, ready to download or publish to TikTok and Meta.
Tips for Captions That Get Read
Use high contrast between text and background.
Keep captions clear of the avatar's face and the product.
Double-check brand names and spelling in the Script before generating.
Leave room at the bottom of 9:16 videos for platform buttons.
